Hi! I'm Suzy, the founder of SUM.
The name SUM came to life during my time as a fashion student at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. While doodling and daydreaming in class, I playfully combined the first two letters of my first name, SUzy, with the last letter of my last name, kiM—and just like that, SUM was born.
Back then, I was just a student with a dream, telling myself that one day, when I "grew up," I would build a brand called SUM. Fast forward to today, that vision has become a reality.
At its core, SUM exists to bridge cities through fashion, bringing the vibrancy of K-Fashion to the U.S. with ease and authenticity. More than just a shopping destination, SUM offers a curated concept store experience—where exclusive designs from independent Seoul-based creators seamlessly blend with the effortless style of Los Angeles, resulting in a wardrobe that is both unique and globally inspired.
